I'm using Airtel 64K sim in my mobile phone as mobile broadband alternative
it provides 468 kbps(a good speed for browsing alone not for downloading)[use 98 rc booster to avail it in gprs based handset]
But in peak hours alone less speed
This is best alternative because mobile broadband providers prices are so high
